LIBRARIES OF UNIVERSITIES OF KAZAKHSTAN: MODERN TASKS AND MODERN SOLUTIONS

Abstract

The article describes the peculiarity of the current stage of society's development in the fact that information exists both in traditional printed and electronic form, in addition, modern information technologies make it possible not only to widely translate the information collected by mankind into electronic form, but also to create many new information resources in electronic form at once. This form of information presentation is characterized by the possibility of organizing the processes of production, storage and dissemination of information at a qualitatively new level, as well as a significant acceleration of communication processes. Examples of the application of a fundamentally new level of knowledge acquisition and accumulation, their dissemination and use, the convergence of information and communication technologies (ICT) and multimedia, the transition to the use of modern information systems in the field of science and education are given. The results obtained can be useful in designing intelligent systems and selecting optimal architectures for specific practical tasks
